BlackW Sign Shop was opened in August 2020, Based in Fordoun, Laurencekirk we serve Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen, Angus and surrounding areas for Custom Signs and Clothing, Event and Exhibition Graphics. Back to doing what I love, designing, making, installing, van and vehicle graphics and signs, the whole creative process from start to finish. Innovating and making cool stuff! .

Rory Blackwood is a time served sign maker, learning the trade and spending a decade with engraving, vinyl graphics, cut-outs and lightboxes in Aberdeen, before moving to Dundee for Custom Sign work. Then in 2000 began to specialise is design, dye sublimation and direct to textile printing. Setting up studios and print departments, moving into production then management and going onto specialise in large format textile printing in Events and Exhibitions for over 20 years. Taking in Kirriemuir, Doha (Qatar), Ongar, (Essex), Colchester and Brackley before moving back to Scotland and beautiful Aberdeenshire to begin a new chapter.
